A leading educational institution in Halifax is seeking a Cleaning Assistant to maintain a clean and safe environment for students. This role includes general cleaning duties, working closely with a supportive team. Applicants should have basic numeracy and literacy skills, as well as cleaning or site maintenance experience. The position offers 27 days of holiday (plus bank holidays) and is within a caring educational environment committed to safeguarding children's welfare.
Monday to Friday;3.30pm–7.00pm(17.5 hours per week, all year round)
Actual Salary:£11,546 per annum

The role of Cleaning Assistant is part of our site team and provides vital support to ensure that the building is clean and well maintained. Your responsibilities will include general cleaning duties and ensuring the physical environment of the premises and grounds is satisfactory for learning.
Your duties will be directed by the Cleaning Manager, and you will need to be comfortable working around children and young people. The work is of a physical nature and full health and safety training is provided.
