Job summary

Priory Hospital Glasgow is seeking a Cleaner to join our team across all wards in a part-time role (10 hours a week). The role offers £13.45 per hour and shifts from 7:30 to 12:30, Monday to Sunday, with occasional weekends.

No prior experience is required; full training is provided to help you contribute to a clean, safe environment. You’ll follow cleaning schedules, use equipment safely, and report issues, collaborating with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service in a supportive team

Qualifications

• Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic
• Good attention to detail
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day

Description

Priory Hospital Glasgow is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team across all wards. This is a part-time role of 10 hours a week.

We know that a clean, safe environment is essential to delivering outstanding care. That’s why our Cleaners play such an important role in our services.

We’re looking for people who care and take pride in contributing to an essential service. You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. In return, we’ll support you with full training and the opportunity to be part of a team that makes a real difference every day.

Working hours 7.30-12.30 Mon- Sun with the occasional working weekend required. Two 5 hour days in the week spread over 7 days.

Priory Hospital Glasgow, Glasgow is a specialist inpatient treatment centre providing support for mental health conditions and addictions, including depression treatment, alcohol and drug rehabilitation, and private autism assessments for adults. It is accessible by public transport, with local train stations nearby and easy access from Glasgow city centre, as well as motorway links
