Job summary

Priory Hospital Llanarth Court in the rural area of Usk, Monmouthshire, is recruiting a part‑time Cleaner to join our team on a permanent basis, 25 hours per week. The role supports a clean, safe environment across the site and is key to delivering outstanding care.

No previous experience is required; full training is provided. Shifts typically run from 7am to 5pm, seven days a week, with flexibility to discuss preferred working days and hours.

Qualifications

• Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Good attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
• Following cleaning schedules and Priory standards
• Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
• Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
• Supporting colleagues where required

Priory Hospital Llanarth Court is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team in a Permanent, Part- Time basis working 25 hours per week.

We know that a clean, safe environment is essential to delivering outstanding care. That’s why our Cleaners play such an important role in our services.

We’re looking for people who care and take pride in contributing to an essential service. You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. In return, we’ll support you with full training and the opportunity to be part of a team that makes a real difference every day. We are happy to discuss your preferences for working days and hours, with shifts typically available between 7am–5pm, Monday to Sunday.
