Job summary

Priory Hospital Arnold is recruiting a Cleaner to join our team in a permanent part-time role (32.5 hours per week). The site is based in Calverton, Nottingham, with working hours Monday to Friday 08:00–15:00 and one in every four weekends.

No prior cleaning experience is required as full training is provided. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment and support colleagues to deliver a high-quality service every day.

Qualifications

• Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• No previous experience required; full training provided.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to carry out an active role.

Description

Priory Hospital Arnold is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team in a permanent part time 32.5 hour per week role.

We know that a clean, safe environment is essential to delivering outstanding care. That’s why our Cleaners play such an important role in our services.

We’re looking for people who care and take pride in contributing to an essential service. You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. In return, we’ll support you with full training and the opportunity to be part of a team that makes a real difference every day. Working hours are Monday-Friday 08.00-15.00 with just 1 in every 4 weekends required (32.5 hrs per week)

Based in the village of Calverton, in Nottingham and set in extensive grounds, Priory Hospital Arnold is an inpatient acute and psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU), for males and females struggling with a wide range of mental health conditions.

What you’ll be doing

• Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across the site
• Following cleaning schedules and Priory standards
• Using cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Reporting maintenance issues, damage, or hazards
• Working as part of a team to deliver a high-quality service
• Supporting colleagues where required
