Job summary

Priory Group's Elton Unit is recruiting a Cleaner on a flexible/zero-hours basis, with shifts typically 7am–5pm, Monday to Sunday. You will help keep a clean, safe environment and receive full training.

No prior cleaning experience is required; a positive attitude and strong work ethic are valued. You will join a supportive team dedicated to high-quality care and service.

Description

Priorys' Elton Unit is looking to recruit a Cleaner to join our team. This is a part time flexible hours "bank" role.

We know that a clean, safe environment is essential to delivering outstanding care. That’s why our Cleaners play such an important role in our services.

We’re looking for people who care and take pride in contributing to an essential service. You don’t need previous experience – just a positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn. In return, we’ll support you with full training and the opportunity to be part of a team that makes a real difference every day.

Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential. We are happy to discuss your preferences for working days and hours, with shifts typically available between 7am–5pm, Monday to Sunday.The Elton Unit is located on the outskirts of Bury, Greater Manchester. It is a 28-bedded specialist care home which provides residential and nursing support to adults aged 18 years and older who have a brain injury. Our aim is to work together to maintain the person’s wellbeing and quality of life.

What you’ll bring to the role

• Good standard of English, with basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Previous cleaning experience is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided

• Physical stamina to carry out an active role throughout the day
