Job summary

South West Norse is seeking a Cleaner to join the team at Gatehouse Primary School in Barnsley on a permanent, part-time basis. Shift times are 6:00am–8:00am, Monday to Friday, during term time.

You will perform day-to-day cleaning, uphold hygiene standards, and provide excellent customer service to staff and pupils. The role offers an enhanced DBS check funded by the employer, with access to training and opportunities for progression within a national organisation.

Job description

Working both independently and within a close team, you will be responsible for carrying out day to day routine and ad-hoc cleaning services as defined by the Cleaning Supervisor, ensuring that the necessary standards are met and operating in line with Client and Norse Policies and Procedures. Whilst maintaining hygiene levels is an important part of site safety across all communal areas, this consumer facing role will require you to deliver high standard of customer service to the clients across the facility.

  £26,438.07 pro-rata (based on a 40 hour working week), equivalent to £12.71/hour
