Classroom Support Assistant

Pay: £14.24 per hour

Location: Calne

Contract: Full Time | Term Time | September 2026

This role is easily accessible from Calne, Melksham, Trowbridge, Warminster, Devizes and surrounding areas.

About the Role:

As a Classroom Support Assistant, you'll support children across KS1 and KS2 with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, and other SEND requirements.

You will:

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Work alongside teachers and other support staff
• Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement
• Help pupils build confidence and independence
• Follow individual support plans where appropriate
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

What we're looking for:

• A genuine passion for supporting children
• A calm, patient and positive approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in education, care, youth work or coaching is beneficial but not essential
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
