Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is recruiting a Classroom Support Assistant to work in Calne area schools, helping children with a range of SEND to reach their full potential. The role involves 1:1 and small group support, alongside teachers and support staff, with a focus on positive behaviour and inclusive learning.

The position offers weekly PAYE pay, term-time and flexible day-to-day work, and opportunities for permanent contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience in education, care, youth work or coaching beneficial but not essential
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Work alongside teachers and other support staff
• Encourage positive behaviour and classroom engagement
• Help pupils build confidence and independence
• Follow individual support plans where appropriate
• Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment
