Job summary

Vision for Education Ltd is seeking SEND Support Workers to work in specialist schools and SEND provisions in the Calne (SN11) area. Roles are flexible across full-time, part-time and long-term engagements with September 2026 start.

Salary ranges between £14.24-£15.50 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications, with opportunities across school-based settings and a strong focus on pupil wellbeing and development.

Vision for Education is recruiting SEND Support Workers to work in specialist schools and SEND provisions across the Calne (SN11) area. Whether you have experience in education, care, youth work or support work, or you're looking to begin a career within SEND, we'd love to hear from you.

As a SEND Support Worker, you'll work closely with pupils who require additional support, helping them to access learning, build confidence and develop essential life skills within a safe and supportive environment. Please note that these are all school based roles.

About the Role & Schools

We are recruiting for flexible day-to-day, long-term and permanent SEND Support Worker opportunities across specialist settings in the SN11 and SN12 area.

You'll be supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs, including autism, SEMH, ADHD, communication needs and learning difficulties. Every school is committed to providing an inclusive environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their individual goals.

Role Responsibilities

As a SEND Support Worker, you may:

Requirements

To be considered for this SEND Support Worker role, you should:

  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children and young people
  • Be patient, caring and resilient
  • Be confident working as part of a team
  • Have experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults (desirable but not essential)
  • Be willing to undertake relevant training and continuous professional development
  • Be able to provide suitable references
  • Hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check
  • Have the Right to Work in the UK

Salary is dependent on experience, training and qualifications.
