Got People is seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers to join a leading parcel delivery company in the UK. You will operate company vehicles safely, perform loading, transportation and delivery of parcels to depots, hubs and customers with professionalism.

Shifts include day and night options with 24/7 operation. The role offers flexible working patterns and opportunities for career development within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Confident in using mobile IT devices and completing daily paperwork accurately.
• Clear and effective communication with supervisors, colleagues, customers and the public.
• Knowledge of safe and legal HGV driving practices, including Working Time Regulations and tachograph requirements.
• Understanding of daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.

Got People are seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers to join one of the UK’s leading parcel delivery companies.

The Role

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles, including the loading, transportation, and delivery of parcels to depots, hubs, and customers with professionalism and care.

Shifts & Pay

• £16.66 to £18.17 per hour – Day and night shifts available
• 24/7 operation

Key Responsibilities

• Operate vehicles and equipment safely, adhering to company policies, legal requirements, and your valid licence, experience, and training
• Complete all mandatory training and inductions to perform your role effectively
• Maintain vehicles and equipment to a high standard, including conducting daily vehicle checks
• Communicate courteously and professionally with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders
• Accurately and promptly follow all company reporting procedures

Person Specification

• Possess a valid Category C (Class 2) driving licence, Driver CPC, and Digital Tachograph Card
• Confident in using mobile IT devices and completing daily paperwork and electronic records accurately
• Clear and effective communication skills when liaising with supervisors, controllers, colleagues, customers and the public
• Knowledge of safe and legal HGV driving practises, including Working Time Regulations, tachograph requirements and official rest breaks
• Understanding of daily vehicle checks, defect reporting and maintaining vehicle roadworthiness
