Job summary

Manpower, Inc. is recruiting for a reliable Class 2 Driver in Crawley. You will operate a Class 2 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres, delivering mail and freight while keeping to schedules.

The role emphasizes daily vehicle checks, paperwork accuracy, and safe loading/unloading. You will need a valid UK Cat C licence, Driver CPC, and up-to-date tachograph card, with good time management and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Cat C driving licence.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.
• 1 year previous Class 2 driving experience in a logistics environment.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.

Hourly Rate: £22.10- £24.18 per hour
