Job summary

Manpower (United Kingdom) is recruiting reliable Class 2 Drivers in Crawley (RH10 9AA) for temporary ongoing roles. You will operate a Class 2 truck on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations, transport mail and parcels, and maintain accurate paperwork.

The role requires a valid UK Cat C licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, up to 6 penalty points, and at least 1 year of Class 2 experience.

Qualifications

• Must have valid UK Cat C driving licence.
• Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card required.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no serious driving endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class 2 vehicle on planned routes between distribution centres and delivery locations.
• Transport mail, parcels and freight efficiently while meeting delivery schedules.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects in line with company procedures.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring the security of all goods.
• Complete delivery paperwork and electronic records accurately.
• Work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the wider operations team.
• Follow all road transport legislation, health and safety regulations and company policies.
