Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a Class 1 Night Trunk Driver to join its Heathfield operation. Based in Heathfield, Devon, you will trunk from Heathfield to Birmingham, reload, and return, with nights Monday to Friday and start times between 18:00 and 21:00, requiring flexibility.

The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork. You will complete daily vehicle checks, work with hubs, attend training, and benefit from a competitive salary (£49,660 p.a.) and company benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.

Responsibilities

• Trunking from Heathfield to Birmingham, reloading, and returning to Heathfield.
• Providing cover for internal trunking operations when required.
• Loading and unloading the vehicle while ensuring all loads are secure and compliant.
• Completing daily vehicle checks using your company-issued mobile device.
• Working closely with the network hubs to support efficient operations.
• Maintaining regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates and help manage customer expectations.
• Attending scheduled training sessions to support ongoing development and compliance.
