Job summary

Applicants must have a valid UK Class 1 licence, 2 years of Class 1 experience, DCPC and Tachograph Card. Visa sponsorship is not available. Great team atmosphere and ongoing opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• At least 2 years commercial Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC) and a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Trunking between depots up to Scotland and down to Milton Keynes.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time.
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately.

Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E) -Clean Trunking work - drop and swap (Up to Scotland and down to Milton Keynes)

Location: Warrington

Pay Rate:£19.61 to £23.53 p/h

Shifts:Monday to Friday (04:00 - 08:00 starts)

Driver Type:Class 1 (C+E)

Experience:2 years Class 1 experience essential - previous tramping experience preferred

The Role

As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:

• Trunking between depots - up to Scotland and down to Milton Keynes
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• At least 2 yearscommercial Class 1 driving experience
• A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
