Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work in Warrington. Trunking and tramping between depots and RDCs, with daily vehicle checks and on-time deliveries.

We offer competitive pay (£19.61–£23.53 per hour), immediate starts, weekly pay every Friday, overtime opportunities, and regular ongoing work with flexible shifts. Applicants must have a UK Class 1 licence, DCPC, Digital Tachograph Card, and at least 2 years of Class 1 experience.

Shifts: Go out Monday and return Friday with 04:00 starts

Driver Type: Class 1 (C+E)

Experience: 2 years Class 1 experience essential - previous tramping experience preferred

As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:

• Trunking & tramping between depots and distribution centres
• Store deliveries + RDC work
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately

What We're Looking For

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• At least 2 years commercial Class 1 driving experience
• A valid Driver CPC qualification (DCPC)
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
