Ignition Driver Recruitment are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to work with our client in York. Join a well-established operation with consistent work, modern vehicles and immediate starts available.

As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include trunking between depots and distribution centres, completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time while complying with Driver Hours, Working Time

Qualifications

• 12 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience.
• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Commitment to safety and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Trunking between depots and distribution centres.
• Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.
• Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, professionally and on time.
• Complying with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive and Road Transport regulations.
• Completing all relevant paperwork and electronic records accurately.

The Role

As a professional HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties may include:

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you'll need:

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Driving Licence
• At least 12 months' commercial Class 1 driving experience
• A valid Digital Tachograph Card
• A professional attitude with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
