Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver for trunking and collections in Crewe. Roles cover days, nights, weekends, with ongoing work and a strong emphasis on reliability, safety and on-time deliveries.

At least 2 years of Class 1 experience is required. Competitive hourly rates, sign-up bonus, and a supportive team await. Immediate starts available with long-term opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Clean Trunking work between depots and distribution centres.
• No Handballing; ensure deliveries are completed safely, on time and professionally.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and defect reporting.

Pay Rate: £21.36 to £32.04 p/h + £250 sign up bonus

Shifts: 5 days per week, shifts will include 1 day at the weekend - ongoing work in to 2027
