Job summary

Ignition Driver Recruitment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers in Port Sunlight to join our client, a global leader in consumer goods, for 100% clean trunking work with competitive rates. You will drive planned trunking routes, perform vehicle checks and paperwork, ensure loads are safe, and represent the client professionally. Shifts include days, nights, full-time, part-time and 4 on 4 off, with rotas booked in advance.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Minimum 6 months' Class 1 driving experience.
• A valid Driver CPC (DCPC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Up to 6 licence points accepted (no DD, DR, CD, TT or IN endorsements).

Responsibilities

• Drive Class 1 (C+E) vehicles on planned trunking routes
• Complete daily vehicle checks and associated paperwork
• Ensure loads are safe, secure and compliant before departure
• Carry out clean trunking work between distribution centres
• Represent our client professionally at all times
