Job summary

GI Group are recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading parcel network in Middleton (M24). Afternoon shifts available on an ad-hoc basis, with typical 12-hour days. Rates start at £20.34 per hour, with overtime after 8 hours at £25.25 per hour, plus higher weekend rates.

Duties include vehicle checks and trunking to depots and hubs, with strict time commitments. Applicants should have 12 months Class 1 experience, a valid Tachograph & CPC, a presentable appearance and no more than

Qualifications

• At least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• Must hold a valid Tachograph & CPC.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Middleton (M24).

Drivers shifts:

We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

• 1300-2030 starts
• Monday to Friday
• Average 12-hour shift
• Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Sunday - £26.25 per hour

*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
