Gi Group UK is recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our network in Radlett. Shifts are afternoon, ad-hoc with average 12-hour days and opportunities for weekend work. Applicants should be reliable and able to start quickly.

Key duties include vehicle checks, trunking to depots and hubs, and prioritising workloads to meet time commitments. Must have 12 months Class 1 experience, valid Tachograph and CPC, and up to 6 penalty points. Holiday pay is included in rates.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Tachograph and CPC in date.
• At least 12 months experience driving HGV Class 1.
• Presentable appearance with a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Good customer service skills and reliability.

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Radlett (AL2).

Drivers shifts

We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend work available
• Average 12-hour shift

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits

• Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Sunday - £26.25 per hour

*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
