Job summary

Gi Group UK is recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading parcel network in Middleton (M24). Shifts include Monday to Friday with weekend work available and average 12-hour days.

Rates start at £20.34 per hour on weekdays, with overtime at £25.25, and higher rates on Saturdays and Sundays. Roles require a valid Tachograph and CPC, 12 months of Class 1 experience, and a presentable, customer-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements
• Valid Tachograph & CPC
• Good customer service skills and a presentable appearance

GI Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Middleton (M24).

Drivers shifts

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend work available
• Average 12-hour shift

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits

• Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Sunday - £26.25 per hour

*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
