Job summary

Gi Group are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks in Sheffield (S35).

We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis. Shifts include Monday to Friday, with weekend work available and average 12-hour shifts. Rates vary by day, with competitive hourly pay including overtime.

Qualifications

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver

Responsibilities

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots and Hubs
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits

• Monday to Friday - £20.34 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Saturday - £23.52 per hour
• Overtime (After 8 hours) - £25.25 per hour
• Sunday - £26.25 per hour

*Please note these rates are inclusive of holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include
