Job summary

Gi Group are recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in Maidstone (ME20) for an world-leading parcel network. Afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis with 12-hour averages. Pay rates: Mon-Fri £20.34, Sat £25.94, Sun £28.95 per hour. PAYE rates include advanced holiday pay.

Requirements include 12 months Class 1 experience, valid Tachograph & CPC, clean licence with no more than 6 points, and strong customer service skills. Roles involve checks, trunking, and delivering across the UK.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid Tachograph & CPC.
• No more than 6 penalty points.

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in Maidstone (ME20) for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks.

We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

Drivers shifts:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekend work available
• Average 12 hour shift

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits:

• Monday to Friday: £20.34 per hour *
• Saturday: £25.94 per hour *
• Sunday: £28.95 per hour *

* Please note that these pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots
• Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
