Job summary

Gi Group is recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers in Maidstone (ME20) for a leading parcel delivery network. Salary ranges from £18.15 to £28.95 per hour with PAYE and advanced holiday pay included; shifts include 1300-2030, Monday to Friday, averaging 12 hours per day, with higher rates on weekends.

Requirements include at least 12 months of Class 1 experience, a valid Tachograph card and CPC, and no more than 6 penalty points (no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT).

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• Hold a valid Tachograph card and CPC.
• No more than 6 penalty points, and no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT codes.

Responsibilities

• Conducting Vehicle checks.
• Trunking work to depots.
• Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK.
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met.

Salary: GBP18.15 - GBP28.95 per hour

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in Maidstone (ME20) for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks.

Drivers shifts:

• - 1300-2030 starts
• - Monday to Friday
• - Average 12 hour shift
• - Monday to Friday: - £20.34 per hour *
• - Saturday: £25.94 per hour *
• - Sunday: £28.95 per hour *
• * Please note that these pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• - Conducting Vehicle checks
• - Trunking work to depots
• - Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• - A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• - No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• - Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• - Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
