Job summary

Gi Group Holdings Recruitment Limited is seeking HGV Class 1 Drivers in London Docklands for ad-hoc afternoon shifts. PAYE rates start at £22.08/hour with enhanced weekend rates.

Drivers will conduct vehicle checks, trunk to depots, and deliver nationwide, prioritising time commitments while maintaining safety and compliance. 12 months' Class 1 experience and a valid Tachograph & CPC are required.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• No more than 6 penalty points; no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.
• Hold a valid Tachograph and CPC.
• Presentable appearance and positive attitude.

Job description

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in London Docklands (E3) for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks.

Drivers shifts:

We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

• 1300-2030 starts
• Monday to Friday
• Average 12 hour shift
• Monday to Friday: - £22.08 per hour *
• Saturday: £26.35 per hour *
• Sunday: £29.41 per hour *

* Please note that these pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots
• Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
