Job summary

Gi Group are recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in Leeds (LS27) for a leading parcel delivery network. Shifts are 1300-2030, Monday to Friday, averaging 12 hours per shift, with enhanced weekend rates.

Requirements include 12 months Class 1 experience, Tachograph & CPC, presentation, and a maximum of 6 penalty points with no DD/IN/DR/DN/TT endorsements.

Qualifications

• 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
• Hold a valid Tachograph & CPC
• No more than 6 penalty points (no DD / IN / DR / DN / TT)
• Presentable appearance and positive attitude

GI Group are currently recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in Leeds (LS27) for one of the worlds leading parcel delivery networks.

Drivers shifts:

• 1300-2030 starts
• Monday to Friday
• Average 12 hour shift
• Monday to Friday: - £20.34 per hour *
• Saturday: £25.94 per hour *
• Sunday: £28.95 per hour *

* Please note that these pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots
• Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
