Job summary

Gi Group are recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers in Cornwall (PL26) for one of the world's leading parcel networks. Afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis are available, with average 12 hour shifts.

Pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay: £20.34/hr (Mon-Fri), £25.94/hr (Sat), £28.95/hr (Sun). Applicants should have at least 12 months Class 1 experience and valid Tachograph & CPC.

Drivers shifts:

We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

HGV Class 1 Drivers pay & benefits:

• Monday to Friday: - £20.34 per hour *
• Saturday: £25.94 per hour *
• Sunday: £28.95 per hour *

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots
• Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Have good customer service skills
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
