Job summary

GI Group in Maidstone (ME20) is recruiting multiple HGV Class 1 Drivers for an ad-hoc, afternoon shift with a leading parcel delivery network.

Shifts 13:00–20:30, Monday to Friday, typically 12 hours. Rates: Mon–Fri £20.34/h, Sat £25.94/h, Sun £28.95/h; PAYE with holiday pay. Requirements: 12 months Class 1 experience, valid Tachograph & CPC, and no more than 6 penalty points.

Drivers shifts:

We are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers to work afternoon shifts on an ad-hoc basis.

• 1300-2030 starts
• Monday to Friday
• Average 12 hour shift
• Monday to Friday: - £20.34 per hour *
• Saturday: £25.94 per hour *
• Sunday: £28.95 per hour *

* Please note that these pay rates are PAYE and include advanced holiday pay

HGV Class 1 Driver main duties will include:

• Conducting Vehicle checks
• Trunking work to depots
• Delivering safely to customers throughout the UK
• Prioritising workload to ensure time commitments are met

HGV Class 1 Driver requirements:

• A presentable appearance, an eye for detail and a positive attitude.
• No more than 6 penalty points. No DD / IN / DR / DN / TT endorsement codes
• Hold a valid, in date Tachograph & CPC
• Must have at least 12 months experience as a Class 1 Driver
