Job summary

Davies is recruiting exceptional Claims Handlers for our Preston office. You will be the first point of contact in moments that matter to our clients, handling inbound/outbound calls, emails and messages as part of the claims journey.

Working 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri, with 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota). Start Date: January 2027. You will interact with customers nationwide and ensure timely, accurate processing of claims with a focus on excellent service.

Qualifications

• You will be professional and amiable in dealing with customers and colleagues.
• You will help customers through their claims effectively.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook is expected.
• You can maintain accuracy and pace when handling multiple tasks.
• You demonstrate attention to detail and strong customer care.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, insurers, suppliers and colleagues nationwide.
• Ensure accurate information reaches the right teams and verify policy cover.
• Review and set up new claims, appoint contractors and update systems.
• Prioritize and manage diaries to support timely processing.
• Issue payments to policyholders and suppliers for settlements.
• Contribute to team and business growth through proactive service.
