Job summary

PDA Search & Selection is recruiting a Cinema Manager for Exeter. The role involves leading a busy cinema team, driving profitability and delivering a first-class customer experience. You will coach staff, manage schedules, and implement the business plan to meet KPIs.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee operations, monitor attendance, and ensure compliance while fostering a positive culture and staff development. This is a full-time, permanent position with weekend work required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a customer-facing team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong business acumen, able to forecast targets and report on performance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; coach and develop staff.
• Proficient in IT and cinema operations technology.

Responsibilities

• Create and embed a positive working culture to deliver a great customer experience.
• Implement and monitor KPIs and the cinema business plan with regular reviews.
• Manage staffing and scheduling to meet attendance forecasts and targets.
• Recruit, train and develop team members; manage performance reviews.
• Control staff costs and budgeting; liaise with payroll and operations.
