Caritas Recruitment Limited seeks an experienced Children's Team Manager to lead a CIN team in Leicester. You will provide strong leadership, professional supervision and oversight to social workers, ensuring high standards of practice and that children's welfare, safety and outcomes remain central to decision-making.

You will oversee assessments, plans, reviews and statutory interventions; coordinate with families and partner agencies to reduce risk and improve outcomes.

Formación

• Recognised Social Work qualification and Social Work England registration.
• Substantial post-qualifying experience in children's social care.
• Experience managing or supervising social workers in CIN/safeguarding/family support.
• Strong knowledge of legislation and statutory frameworks; assessment and intervention.
• Excellent communication, organisation and leadership; commitment to anti-discriminatory practice.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage a CIN team in Leicester; provide supervision, case direction and performance management.
• Oversee assessments, plans, reviews and statutory interventions within required timescales.
• Maintain accurate, high-quality records and ensure governance and QA processes.
• Collaborate with families and partner agencies (education, health, early help, safeguarding).
• Contribute to child protection processes when concerns arise and support continuous improvement.
