Job summary

Remedy Social Care is seeking a Children's Team Manager to join the Family Help Service in Manchester. You will supervise 2 Advanced Practitioners and 4 Social Workers, managing safeguarding cases across CIN, CP, pre-proceedings, care proceedings and adoption.

Based at Etrop Court in Wythenshawe, the role includes a 10-week allocation rota, monthly supervision and access to directorate training. Remedy provides a supportive consultancy and pathways for professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified social worker registered with Social Work England.
• Experience supervising and supporting front-line social care staff.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and experience with CIN/CP/care proceedings.

Responsibilities

• Provide reflective supervision and support to a team of 2 Advanced Practitioners and 4 Social Workers.
• Manage intake and allocation of families into the Family Help Service on a 10-week rota.
• Coordinate safeguarding work and cross-team collaboration across MACPT and Children with Disabilities teams.
