Job summary

Caritas Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Team Manager posted in Nottingham City Social Services to lead the Children with Disabilities Service. You will supervise a team of social workers, ensure safeguarding, assessments, care planning, and drive service improvements while working with education, health and partner agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team delivering statutory social work services to children and young people with disabilities.
• Oversee safeguarding, assessments, care planning and review processes to ensure positive outcomes.
• Provide reflective supervision, guidance and performance management to social workers and support staff.
• Ensure high-quality practice, compliance with legislation and timely case progression.
• Promote effective multi-agency working with education, health and partner agencies.
• Support children and families through a relationship-based, child-centred approach.
• Drive service improvement and contribute to the development of a strong, supportive team culture.
