A leading children's care provider is seeking a Team Leader to oversee daily operations and provide support to young individuals aged 8-17 in their care. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3/4 qualification in Children and Young People and have at least two years' experience in a relevant setting. Responsibilities include leading shifts, supporting care planning, and liaising with external agencies. A compassionate approach is essential to deliver outstanding care and help young people thrive.
Your role: As a Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in leading practice on shift. You will mentor and support new team members, oversee day-to-day operations, and act as the key point of contact for reporting to higher management. You'll conduct staff supervisions, provide progress updates, and raise any concerns related to team or young person dynamics, advising when management intervention may be needed. You will act as a Key Worker where necessary, taking primary responsibility for the care and development of a designated young person.
