Our aim is to provide a seamless service to the children/young people living in our homes, as such our bank staff are offered the same high-quality training as our full-time staff.

Role
You will be a dynamic and supportive person with excellent communication skills, a tolerant, kind and understanding attitude, alongside a strong level of emotional intelligence.
As a Residential Support Worker, you would have experience of working in Children’s Residential Homes. Ideally, you should be qualified with an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Child Care (or similar), which is preferred but not essential for successful applicants.
Bank Support Workers need to hold a full driving licence and have access to transport.
Hours
Bank Support Workers will be offered a mixture of shifts, including weekend work, shifts on public holidays, and some sleep-in and waking night shifts which you are free to accept or decline depending on your availability.
If you’re successful, we’ll need you to have an enhanced DBS check. For all roles, we’ll also need a minimum of two references. Depending on the role you apply for, we might also need to request references from each employer where you have worked with young people or vulnerable adults.
You will complete our full training induction program, be committed to our values, and be flexible in your working week. We will give you some great opportunities to learn and grow within your career.
As part of our team, you will work hard to empower our young people, help them break through barriers, and experience a range of varied opportunities and activities while assisting permanent staff teams with duties.
