Senior Residential Support Worker – Children’s Homes
Bacup, Lancashire | £34,654 – £35,688 | Full-Time | ️ 11 Sleeps p/m (£50 per sleep)
Specialists in Children’s Home | Recruitment & Retention | SGS

Salary: £34,654 – £35,688 (including sleeps)
Working Hours: 40 hours per week on average
Number of Sleeps Required: Average of 10 per month
Service: Children’s Home
Service Users: YPs with EBD & LD
Qualifications Required: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to achieve – 100% funded)
Experience in Years Required: 0–1 year (more experience may qualify for higher salary banding)
Employment Type: Permanent

  • A full UK manual driving licence is essential.
  • Sponsorship is not available.
  • Applicants with only CQC experience and no background in Ofsted-registered children’s homes will not be considered.
The Home:
  • Number of Beds: 2
  • Location: Bacup, Lancashire
  • Type of YPs: Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Learning Disabilities (LD), Trauma, CSE, CCE
  • Ofsted Rating: Varies by home and will be confirmed during the interview.
  • Ratio of Staff to Children: 2:1 or 1:1 based on individual needs
