Job summary

Total Care Matters Ltd. is seeking caring, resilient Residential Support Workers to join our teams across the East Midlands.

You will support young people aged 8–18, help them overcome challenges, develop life skills, and create a stable home environment where they can thrive. We offer a comprehensive training programme, funded Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications, progression opportunities, loyalty bonus, pension, 28 days leave, DBS checks, and wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Passion for supporting children and young people.
• Experience working with children and/or a Level 3 qualification is desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS check and safer recruitment checks will be required.

About Total Care Matters

At Total Care Matters, we provide therapeutic residential care for children and young people aged 8–18 across our nine homes in the East Midlands. We support young people who have experienced significant adversity, helping them build confidence, resilience, and brighter futures. Our teams create safe, nurturing environments where children feel valued, supported, and empowered to achieve their potential.

As part of our commitment to delivering outstanding care, we are working towards DDP (Dyadic Developmental Practice) accreditation, further embedding trauma‑informed and therapeutic approaches across our homes.

The Role

We're looking for caring, resilient, and motivated individuals to join our team as Residential Support Workers. You'll play a vital role in supporting young people to overcome challenges, develop life skills, achieve their goals, and build positive memories. Working as part of a dedicated team, you'll help create a stable and supportive home environment where young people can thrive.
