Role responsibilities

Our Trainee Assessors provide end-to-end structured support to apprenticeship learners on the programme. They ensure the most effective and up-to-date approaches are implemented to prepare learners to progress in their careers. Responsibilities include:

  • Cover a regional area and travel to learners\' workplaces for assessments
  • Complete Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) and outline personalised learning pathways
  • Reference and evaluate evidence collected in the workplace to meet key skill requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of learner attendance and guided contact hours, ensuring audit compliance
  • Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of set performance targets
  • Arrange additional training through day release and provide in-house training support as needed
  • Keep detailed records of clients\' achievements to meet awarding body criteria
What we are looking for

Essential

  • Proven occupational experience and technical competence in Health and Social Care delivery
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle
  • Willingness to undergo a DBS check (cost covered by the company) and EWC registration
  • Welsh speaking is desirable

Desirable

  • Relevant training experience and a recognised teaching or assessing qualification (e.g., A1 Assessor Award, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent)
