The Opportunity

We are conducting a retained search for a Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to lead the global commercial strategy for a market-leading manufacturer of diagnostic and treatment products.

Operating as a key entity within a listed technology group, this business requires a high-calibre leader to drive worldwide sales, business development, and strategic partnerships.

This is a Board-level position. You will report directly to the CEO/Managing Director and act as a Director for various global legal entities.

The Mission

Your mandate is clear: Shape and execute a commercial strategy that delivers 10% year-on-year profit growth.

You will lead a global organisation, managing a direct reporting line that includes the VP of Sales (Americas) and Regional Heads across the UK, Europe, MEA, and APAC.

Key Deliverables
  • Global Strategy: Define and implement sales strategies designed to deliver sustained, profitable growth and double-digit profit improvement.
  • Organisational Leadership: Lead, mentor, and retain a high-performing global commercial team, fostering capability and succession readiness.
  • M&A & Partnerships: Work with the CEO and Board to identify, assess, and develop a pipeline of M&A opportunities and strategic partnerships to support growth.
  • Market Insight: Strengthen end-user and clinical insights to inform product innovation and Go-To-Market strategies.
  • Accountability: Establish a culture of accountability by deploying robust performance metrics and incentive structures.
Who You Are
  • Experienced Leader: You possess progressive commercial experience across sales, marketing, and business development.
  • Global Operator: You have a proven track record of managing international teams and are willing to travel regularly to key locations (including the USA, Spain, India, and China).
  • Strategic Thinker: You can balance operational sales management with high-level strategic planning, including M&A activity.
  • Healthcare Expert: You have experience engaging with healthcare professionals and understanding clinical market dynamics.
