Job summary
Evotym, a fintech company in the United Kingdom, seeks a Chief Business Development Officer to turn new market opportunities into profitable lines. You will test ideas, win initial customers and partners, and scale successful initiatives from launch.
This hands-on role involves building dedicated teams as new directions grow, developing commercial strategies, negotiating terms, and tracking revenue and ROI with the CEO and cross‑functional teams.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of proven business development experience, including launching new initiatives.
- Experience in fintech, card issuing or card processing.
- Experience developing new markets and partnerships.
- International business experience, across Europe and the UK preferred.
- Ability to work in a remote, international team with overlapping hours.
Responsibilities
- Identify and assess new markets for card-based payment solutions.
- Develop and validate business hypotheses against market potential.
- Create value propositions and commercial strategies for new verticals.
- Acquire initial customers and partners, negotiate terms to launch.
- Track revenue, profitability and ROI while scaling initiatives.
- Work with the CEO to prioritise opportunities and allocate resources.
