About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering Butlins' food propositions.
You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes in accordance with set recipes and brand standards.
In this role, you will oversee small teams of commis chefs, ensuring the delivery of quality food while adhering to food safety policies. You will be enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to develop your skills in a fun, educational environment, supporting your progression to senior roles.
As a Chef de Partie, you will deputise in the absence of the sous chef, manage daily operations within your section, and ensure efficiency and compliance with health and safety standards.
You will maintain a clean and organized workstation, demonstrate health and safety responsibilities as standard behavior, and lead, train, and mentor commis chefs with guidance and support.
Your responsibilities also include preparing and cooking dishes according to recipes, completing daily food diaries, and assisting in controlling budget margins with support from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a busy kitchen environment.
Additionally, you will be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Typical working hours are five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week.
