About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions.
You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to set recipes and brand standards.
Managing small teams of commis chefs, you will ensure the delivery of quality food in line with food safety policies. You will have the opportunity to enroll in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to develop your skills in a fun and educational environment, helping you progress to more senior roles.
In this role, you will deputise in the absence of the sous chef, oversee daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and compliance with food safety standards.
You will maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhere to health and safety regulations, and lead, train, and mentor commis chefs with guidance and support.
Your responsibilities also include preparing and cooking dishes to pre-approved recipes, completing relevant daily food diaries, and controlling budget margins with support from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
About You

You should be hardworking, reliable, and proactive in seeking improvements to ensure consistent delivery of our brand standards.
Energetic, enthusiastic, high-spirited, and fun-loving candidates who understand their role's value in enhancing guest experience are ideal.
You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
As with any chef role at this level, responsibilities include managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Typical working hours are five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week.
