A leading company in the hospitality industry is seeking a Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team. You will play a vital role in food preparation and team management, ensuring compliance with safety standards while contributing to memorable guest experiences. About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering Butlins' food propositions.
You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to set recipes and brand standards.
Managing small teams of commis chefs, you will ensure the delivery of food in compliance with food safety policies. You will be enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to enhance your skills in a fun and educational environment, supporting your progression to more senior roles.
In this role, you will deputise in the absence of the sous chef, manage daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and safety compliance. You will maintain a clean and organised workstation, adhering to health and safety regulations, and lead, train, and mentor commis chefs with guidance and support.
You will prepare and cook dishes following pre-approved recipes, complete daily food diaries, and support budget control with the guidance of the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

You should be hardworking, reliable, proactive, and eager to improve team standards. Enthusiasm, energy, and a fun-loving attitude are essential, as is a commitment to guest satisfaction and team collaboration.
Candidates must have passed Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a busy kitchen environment. Responsibilities also include managing margins, controlling costs, and maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Working hours are five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week.
