About The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions.

You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to set recipes and brand standards.

Managing small teams of commis chefs, you will ensure the delivery of food in compliance with food safety policies. You will participate in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to develop your skills in a fun and educational environment, supporting your progression to more senior roles.

In this role, you will deputise in the absence of the sous chef, oversee daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and safety compliance. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation and demonstrating health and safety standards are essential. You will lead, train, and mentor commis chefs, providing guidance and support.

You will prepare and cook dishes according to approved recipes, complete daily food diaries, and assist in controlling budget margins with support from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

About You

We seek individuals with experience at a similar level or those looking to step up in their culinary career. You should be hardworking, reliable, and proactive in seeking improvements. Enthusiasm, energy, and a team-oriented attitude are essential, along with a Level 3 Food Safety qualification.

You should be confident in leading a team, delivering high standards in a fast-paced environment, and managing costs and safety regulations.

Typical working hours are five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week.
