Job description

About The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions.

You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to set recipes and brand standards.

In this role, you will oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring the delivery of food in compliance with food safety policies. You will be enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to develop your skills in a fun and educational environment, supporting your progression to more senior roles.

Key responsibilities include managing daily operations in your section, maintaining a clean and safe workstation, leading and mentoring junior chefs, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations.

You will also prepare and cook dishes according to approved recipes, complete daily food diaries, and assist in controlling budget margins with guidance from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

We seek individuals with experience at a similar level, who are hardworking, reliable, and proactive in seeking improvements. Enthusiasm, energy, and a positive attitude are essential, along with a Level 3 Food Safety qualification and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time, permanent role offers 35 guaranteed hours per week, with shifts between 7am and 12 midnight, including weekends and late finishes. Accommodation may be provided for those relocating.
