Job summary

Soho House in London is seeking a Chef de Partie to support the kitchen brigade and deliver exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. You will prepare, set up stations, plate to standards, and work with a passionate team.

With at least 2 years in a similar capacity, culinary qualification is a plus. We offer weekly pay, staff discounts, training, and a range of benefits to help you grow in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Passion for food with attention to detail.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Culinary qualification is a plus but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Plating food according to company guidelines ensuring high standards.
• Ensuring mise en place is completed before service.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
• Attending regular meetings with front and back of house teams to learn about menu or service changes and specials.
• Support junior team members through guidance and collaboration.
• Assist in preparation of team meals as requested, considering dietary needs and variety.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning, improvement, and teamwork.
• Support deep cleaning of the kitchen before close.
• Wrap unused items and store them properly after service.
