Job summary

Soho House in London is seeking a Chef de Partie to support our kitchen brigade and deliver exceptional dining experiences for members and guests. You will ensure high-quality plating, maintain mise en place, and uphold health and safety standards in a busy kitchen.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2+ years’ experience in similar capacity.
• Passion for food, attention to detail and a desire to learn and grow.
• Understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
• Good communication and teamwork in a busy kitchen.
• Flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plating food according to company guidelines ensuring high standards.
• Ensuring mise en place is completed before service.
• Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are met.
• Attend regular meetings with front and back of house teams and tastings.
• Support junior team members (e.g., Commis Chefs) with guidance.
• Assist in preparation of team meals and accommodate dietary needs.
• Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards learning and teamwork.
• Assist with deep cleaning of the kitchen before close.
• Wrap unused items and store properly at end of service.
