Job summary

Anchor is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join the bustling kitchen at its Waterside pub. You’ll be hands-on, run a section with consistency and flair, and help maintain presentation to our high standards in a busy service.

The role offers £14 per hour, tips and a clear path to progression, with permanent or seasonal contracts and live-in options where available. Training and development are provided within a sustainability‑focused team.

Awesome Anchor - Waterside Location

Part of the Hall & Woodhouse family of sensational destination pubs, and Located next to Pyrford Lock, on the banks of the Wey Navigation canal, the Anchor is a lovely example of a traditional, Surrey country pub with stunning waterside views. With a beautiful terrace that runs along the canal, the pub is glorious in the summer months, and in the winter its roaring log fires and oak-beamed conservatory offer plenty in the way of cosy charm, making it a busy all year round destination.

We’re growing our kitchen team and looking for an experienced CDP, Section Chef or Line Chef to jump in and help us keep the good stuff coming. If you love great food, enjoy a buzzing service, and want to work with a genuinely supportive crew, this could be your next spot.
