Job summary

Thomas Franks is recruiting a Chef De Partie for its Glastonbury location. You will join a fast-paced kitchen, producing meals from scratch with fresh seasonal ingredients and changing menus. The role operates on a 52-week contract, with 40 hours per week and weekend residential activity for boarders.

Senior chefs will mentor you to uphold brand standards and high food hygiene. You will be part of a team delivering meals to pupils and staff, with opportunities for development and progression

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.
• Ability to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and changeable menus.
• Commitment to brand standards and food hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team of chefs to cater for pupils and teachers
• Prepare food from scratch using fresh ingredients
• Follow company brand standards and manage wastage
• Adhere to Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen controls
