Job summary

Thomas Franks in Glastonbury is seeking a talented Chef De Partie to join our team at a prestigious campus. You will work within a fast-paced kitchen, producing from-scratch meals using fresh seasonal ingredients and bespoke menus, with a strong emphasis on quality and brand standards.

You will be an organised chef with a passion for great food, able to work collaboratively in a 52-week operation that serves pupils and educators across multiple meals each day.

Qualifications

• Experience as CDP or junior sous chef in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Experience with fresh seasonal ingredients and from-scratch cooking.
• 52-week contract; 7 days a week operation; weekend residential activity for boarders.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team of chefs to provide catering to pupils and teachers.
• Produce food using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch, following brand standards.
• Ensure compliance with Food Hygiene, Health & Safety and allergen controls.
• Control wastage and adhere to company food standards.
